Mikaela Mazanett is a dancer, choreographer and creative based between Malmö and Copenhagen. She started dancing as a teenager and has since trained extensively in a wide range of styles, developing a versatile movement language inspired by both the commercial and underground dance scenes.

 

After years of training and performing, Mikaela chose to continue her development at Hotstepper Dance Education in Copenhagen, where she further refined her artistry and versatility. Since graduating, she has remained active through teaching, performances, battles and creative projects across Sweden and Denmark.

 

Mikaela is active in both the commercial and freestyle dance scenes. She has collaborated with Skånes Dansteater as a guest choreographer and performer, Represented RTA, performed with Tima Family and Afroace CPH, and continues to challenge herself through freestyle battles, earning Top 16, Top 8 and Top 4 placements, including a recent win at Who’s Got The Funk in Copenhagen. With a background in Art & Design, photography and graphic design, Mikaela’s creativity extends beyond dance into visual storytelling and creative direction. Passionate about musicality, groove and performance, she is always exploring new ways of moving and creating.
